- Approx. five people leaving UK
- Two dozen wonderful people
- Method:
Place all ingredients in nice bar. Mingle till all have hugged, encouraged and said farewell. Serve.
I’m sitting in a friends flat in West London having just returned from an evening of farewells. Primarily for Ali (Oasis Trust) and I (YWAM) to say goodbye. Mike (Tearfund) was also back from Sudan along with Kat (Medicare) and Tom (Vicar factory) also counts. It was sooo good to see them all and despite my growing concerns for my visa, their excitement has been rubbing off and I’m actually beginning to get excited myself.
Today was a day of Logistics. I saw a friendly optician, shopped for a camera bag, a new compact study bible, a USB memory key and a phone. Then I ran to London to see everyone.
For those of you who came - thanks! It was great to see you and I hope I caught up with you.
So what phone did you buy in the end? (This probably seems a very shallow question but hey!)
I got a pay as you go phone - Nokia 6233 I think. Seems to do the job - my contract now includes international texts, so I’ll probably reply if you text me :-)
