Little pieces of paper!

My passport arrived back this morning with a study permit attached inside, allowing me to stay in South Africa to do my course.  Looking at it, I reckon it would have been a lot easier to forge it than go through the hassle of getting xrays, police clearance and all the rest (just joking).

So - I’ve got a few jobs to do today, like booking a new flight.  Now I can do it with my passport in hand and confident of leaving.

I also got a refund from Wandsworth council this morning after I failed to mention to them I’d moved out of my flat in London in August - that goes at least some way in unexpected money that will help cover my new flight.  And this time around, I’m only going to get a one way flight.  (Did you know that if you don’t use the out going portion of a flight, the return portion gets cancelled automatically?)

Hurrah! I’m finally confident of being there on Monday.
