Jacuzzi

Now - I can’t say my life out here is hard.

Last night I was asked by the base director if I wanted to go over to his house to chill out, watch the cricket and sit in the jacuzzi a while.  We did so.  There is something about sitting in a hot jacuzzi whilst it’s lightly raining - a refreshing experience and one that made me realise that I would quite happily get a jacuzzi if I ever own a house.  The other thing that made me happy was the number of buttons that you could twist and turn to make air and water jets appear all over the place.  A truly giant sized gadget.

On another note - today we went to Cape Town.  Long Street (nice shopping - maybe a little like Brighton), Greenmarket Square (african markets where us tourists are completely ripped off), Company Gardens (um, err, gardens) and the South African Museum which was actually really good.

I’m now very tired and heading to bed.

Tomorrow we go to Worcester for a week - for a change of scenery and for a week of teaching down there.  I hope to be able to update my blog - so I’ll see you there.

I would be horrible to you on the grounds that you seem to be having far too much fun, but if ever you get that jacuzzi I’ll be straight over, so I’d rather remain on the right side of you!

    God bless you in Worcester
