a dreaming personality

Well, it’s another new week and a hectic one at that. I should really be in bed by now, but having stayed up a little to help a good friend I thought I’d quickly write a post before bedtime.

This week we have two speakers. Hazel is here to take us through the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality profiling. If you’ve never done it, it’s a useful tool to help you understand better how you actually work and, perhaps more importantly, how other people work. I am an INTP apparently and I agree. Although there are some parts that don’t seem to be me, in reality that’s because I’ve learned to adapt and use different methods than those I naturally prefer. What are you? You can get a very quick idea by looking at this page.

Edwin has been the other speaker, talking about dreams. Not the kind we have in our sleep, but rather those that we have and want to do. He’s been talking a lot about how to recognise and develop dreams in our lives.  How to see dreams through to completion, or far enough anyway.  Interestingly I’m not really someone who enjoys seeing things right through to completion - although I’ve always told myself that I am.  Explains a little why I found some aspects of my previous job frustrating.

Right - my bunk-bed is calling me.  Oh yes, I uploaded a whole lot of new pictures over the weekend.  Go and have a look on flickr.
