I genuinely love my mother. I don’t think that this is something I could have said eight years ago, but over time you start to really understand and appreciate all the things that mothers do. Tonight my mum (or maybe my dad) installed Skype and added me to their buddy list. When I logged in I had a text chat with my mum, during which she uttered the title of this post. Another apt title for this post would have been “parents and technology are cute together”.
Only sentences later she wrote “:-) I can do a smiley now!!” Instantly I felt like I was witnessing first infant steps.
Yet another apt title for this post would be “an ode to the mother that I love”.
Anyway - apologies for the lack of posts recently, I’ve been extremely busy preparing for Uganda - more details coming soon.
Mothers do take time to get use too, but they’re delicious when ready.
oh, moms are fun! Gotta love them! My mom is not quite ready for skype unfortunately, but she has gotten into emails and my blog so that is cute to watch her. Parents and technology sure are cute together! Anyways, I am glad you got to talk to your mum! I bet she misses ya!
