So, the story goes that he ran to his Father proudly wanting to show off his latest achievement. Unfortunately there is an ironic twist to this young kids enthusiasm to clean the fish tank: by adding soap. It was already too late to do anything to save the five fish that were already drinking up the soapy water. Rather than swimming around and enjoying the soapy bubble bath they were limply struggling to live.
I have to admit that I laughed when I heard what had happened this morning at the next door neighbours but one. Poor kid. Poor fish. Still - you learn from your mistakes.
In other news: things are still going well - it’s been a good week with more camera work and starting on editing. I thought I knew Final Cut Studio quite well - this hasn’t stopped me learning a whole load of new tricks and lesser known but useful keyboard short-cuts. Did a mini project today and it didn’t go amazingly well due to a lack of time - still, practice makes perfect.
