I’ve jumped over the last hurdle of the School of Video Production course here at Media Village. My final project is now complete - more or less - and I’m pretty happy with the result. Kudos to Leasha here for motivating my team and I to get back into it and make an effort. The result is actually quite good and available to view or download here. It’s all about a look at some typical Christian struggles.
We finished at 9am on Saturday after I’d pulled off an all night edit to put in the colour correction and get all the timing nice and tight. On Saturday I was taken to Stellenbosch for the rest of the weekend which involved sleeping, rowing, braai-ing, sun-bathing, eating, good company and good conversation. Pretty awesome weekend as they go.
There are still a few days left to go before we graduate. I still have to make it through two more days of lectures, an exam, lots of clean-up and the Cable Awards (a PR event dressed up as our graduation and awards ceremony). I imagine I’ll survive the week though.
