Stellenbosch. Home of South African wine, a major Afrikaans university, bohemian culture and Simon.
This is currently my home - the temperatures are soaring as the summer approaches and I have plenty of time to think about the world. My days are mostly consisting of relaxing and meeting friends of friends. My main aim is to reflect over what has been happening in my life over the last nine months.
Today I wandered over to Fish Hoek in order to see a guy called Hamilton about faith development. He was one of the guys we interviewed for cube - so I took a copy of the project for him. We had a good chat and I gained some really useful insight.
I also popped into Media Village searching for a bag and caught up very briefly before giving a lift to a random man named George who claimed to be a mugged American tourist. Regardless of whether his back story was true we had an interesting discussion on the way.
Later this week in Simon’s life: booking his flight home, continuing to read and process his notes from earlier in the year and carrying out a long overdue update on flickr and facebook photos.
Oh - it’s the rugby this weekend. Clearly I will support England although my current geographical location will no doubt put me in the minority. Come on England :-)
