Happy Easter to you all.
I got back from Belgium last night and woke up this morning to open my curtains to a scene that in most minds would be more typical of Christmas. A think layer of snow covering the world. Not entirely unexpected given the weather forecasts, but surprising anyway given the usual weather forecast accuracy!
It’s been an interesting Easter so far. I’ve been along to my local village church and wasn’t totally bored with the liturgy. I also got given a big Green and Blacks Easter egg - which I was unexpected and a pleasant surprise. The fire is now lit and soon will be time for a nice meal of roast lamb. I was glad both to be away and to be back home - a variety.
As for me, right now, I’m off with a glass of port and piece of chocolate to sit in front of the fire.
