I went into town yesterday to buy a birthday present for my lovely friend David who has just turned 30. Somehow I came home with new CDs, books and a copy of the new Apple OS Leopard that I’ve been putting off. Aside from screwing up my wireless internet settings it’s quite pretty. Most notably so far is that Spotlight is vastly faster, even on my ageing PowerBook G4.
So back to the birthday boy. Had a lovely BBQ yesterday down in High Wycombe. Really enjoyed myself and I think that David did too. The highlight had to be the remote control Dalek that had a special remote control button for emitting the dreaded “Exterminate!!!” All good fun.
I did indeed have a lovely day, although the Dalek is small enough to get behind the sofa - so where do I hide?
