I love London. Really. After having been away from the city for over a year I am so very glad to be back. Back in April I went to Paris and blogged both about the amazing velib system and my fears of the utter failure it could be if introduced in London. This evening I read on the tube that a similar scheme is getting closer in London - the Guardian talks about it here. This evening at headspace we talked about vision and values. The two are co-dependent much more than I initially thought. A certain vision is only achievable by adopting a set of values that match the vision. If a vision is to create an intimate community or family then intimacy of some sort must inherently be [...] One can only imagine that this company on Kennington Lane has off-season trade from lapland. After all - why have them around the house if you don’t need them? Even when my new camera turned up I wasn’t as excited as when I received this parcel from the internet: I’m having a kids party this weekend and felt I needed, amongst other things, to acquire some old school sweets. Back to the silly game planning. |
