I love London. Really. After having been away from the city for over a year I am so very glad to be back.
Due to an excess of holidays I have had a nice long three day weekend and have spent it on me me me. Aside from meeting friends for coffee and macaroons I also went to an art gallery and a dance workshop. Hurrah for mind expanding life experiences.
Down on the London wall is an exhibition space called wallspace. I hadn’t been there before, but the new “Lumia Domestica” exhibition is stunning and a superb meditative space. I highly recommend you spend some time there and let yourself be drawn into the ever changing, swirling, jumping and flickering patterns. Visit after dark and your experience will be completed by the spinning dots of light from the buildings bell tower mirrorball installation; a totally surreal and lovely thing to see in the heart of the serious financial district.
Today I’ve been on a afternoon long ceroc workshop, learning and revising the basic ceroc moves. I’m not a dancer, but this has been easier and more fun to pick up than I thought. Seems to be good exercise by all accounts :o)
