About a6s1
I’m no Shakespearean writer. All I have is a change in my life and some amazing family and friends that want to know what I’m doing. For most of 2007 I was in Cape Town, South Africa and also in Uganda doing something completely different.
Pre-school & primary, secondary, 6th form, university, working in London and now a year abroad. When I originally thought up the title for this blog I roughly calculated that going away would be the sixth distinct phase of my life - hence the name. Will I ever update the scene numbers as I roll around the world? Unlikely - nothing else quite sounds the same :-)
The picture at the top - if you are interested - is a compilation of a number pictures I took in the first few months of being in South Africa. From the left to the right, a picture of me standing on the balcony of Media Village (check the reflection in the sunglasses), some penguins at boulders beach, Gareth (also on my course) jumping from a dam wall, kids from Masiphumelele, the other teams goal at our inaugural football match against YWAM Muizenberg and a sunrise taken from above Kalk Bay. You can see more of my pictures over at flickr.

I tried to call you to get your address so I could send you a wedding invitation…. No wonder we were unable to get in touch with you!
