I joined the local camera club, around the corner from my house, about six or seven months ago. I went along to a studio accreditation session to learn the ropes and went to a lighting master class. Despite my best intentions it stalled there. My excuses were a) not having a suitable IR trigger to [...] It’s been a long time coming. Sometime in the last couple of days I picked up a new fifty pence coin. If I knew where I’d go back and kiss the shop assistant. I now present the completed UK coin set blu-tac’d to my desk: It seems that it is the cumulative effect of small things [...] The last few weeks have been positively crazy. It’s still a time of change and I’m continuing to embrace this. A few recommendations… In theatre, the 39 steps - very funny, cleverly executed and thoroughly enjoyable. In music - the new Duke Special album, I never thought this day would come, is as hopeful as [...] One can only imagine that this company on Kennington Lane has off-season trade from lapland. After all - why have them around the house if you don’t need them? Even when my new camera turned up I wasn’t as excited as when I received this parcel from the internet: I’m having a kids party this weekend and felt I needed, amongst other things, to acquire some old school sweets. Back to the silly game planning. |
