The last few weeks have been positively crazy. It’s still a time of change and I’m continuing to embrace this. A few recommendations… In theatre, the 39 steps - very funny, cleverly executed and thoroughly enjoyable. In music - the new Duke Special album, I never thought this day would come, is as hopeful as [...] Richard Curtis’s film Love Actually has several interesting stories. The one that I can maybe relate to the best is that of the unrequited love between Andrew Lincoln and Keira Knightly. The odd one out, in that it has no firm good ending, is that of Laura Linney; who is dealing with her brother’s mental [...] Facebook is a great tool for communicating with your friends. Facebook is a great tool for keeping in touch with those people that would otherwise be consigned to the too much trouble pile. Facebook is also a powerful tool for stalking people. In addition to all the above it’s a great tool for proving just [...] One can only imagine that this company on Kennington Lane has off-season trade from lapland. After all - why have them around the house if you don’t need them? Even when my new camera turned up I wasn’t as excited as when I received this parcel from the internet: I’m having a kids party this weekend and felt I needed, amongst other things, to acquire some old school sweets. Back to the silly game planning. |
